Ad swaps - do many blogs actually do them?

Hello!

We are looking to do ad swaps with other similar blogs but are struggling to find others looking to do the same.
Does anyone here do them? Do you find they have helped?
Do you have any tips for the best ways to get a blog interested in swapping with you?

We see many people wanting to charge for adverts but never hear much about people looking to do ad swaps. Do people go from showing no adverts on their blog to having several and charging? I feel like there is something we are missing...

Oh a LOT of blogs do swaps! You have to look for the ones that are about 50-100 followers. Once they get bigger than that, a lot of them start charging (and rightfully so, since their traffic is increasing).
