Hello! I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Christine Lewis, and I am founder of Pink Warrior Calendar Girls. I am a stage 3 breast cancer survivor, and my business is dedicated to the breast cancer community. My business has a cause built into it, but I hope that I make enough money to contribute to other breast cancer and general cancer related causes as well. Our mission is to bring hope to the newly diagnosed while restoring confidence in breast cancer survivors. We just recently finished photo shoots for over 12 women, providing them with professional hair and makeup, followed by photography and videography - - all for free, so that they could share their stories. It is our hope that those newly diagnosed with breast cancer can see us survivors thriving, while also restoring confidence that may have been lost among those of us who have completed a majority of our treatments. We hope to provide future experiences for more and more survivors. This is why we careted this as a calendar. Every time someone purchases one of our calendars, they are helping us provide more free experiences like this for future participants. While I do hope to make a modest income, so that I can support my family (I can no longer work in education after my cancer battle), it is my dream to be able to donate some of the profit from my business to breast cancer and general cancer related causes.
