I recently cleaned up off-topic posts from the boards. I always worry about offending someone when I delete a post, so please know that it is never personal or mean-spirited when I do this. I simply want to keep this team on the topic of matching bloggers with sponsors.
The Blog and Sponsor Connection was never intended to be a promo board or blogging support team. I tried to make this as clear as possible on the Team's info page. It is intended to be a database to help bloggers and potential sponsors to find each other. Therefore, I remove any thread that doesn't meet that goal.
For your review:
OKAY TO POST THREADS THAT...
-Seek to buy or sell ad space on a blog
-Seek or advertise free ad space on a blog
-Request to swap ads
-Seek giveaway items
-Seek a blog to host a giveaway
NOT OKAY TO POST THREADS THAT...
-Seek followers/fans/friends/votes, etc.
-Promote current giveaways (unless you are still seeking sponsors for it)
-Promote your latest blog post
-Seek advice & support
