Hi. My name is Sarah, I am the owner of Skylar Magazine. Skylar is an online magazine which started out in print back in July, 2005. It is an eclectic magazine that covers just about every subject you can think of -fashion, hair and makeup, other beauty related subjects, arts, crafts, design, DIY, decor, home and garden, cooking, food and beverage, love and marriage, dating, lifestyle, party and event planning...you name it! I have eclectic taste in pretty much everything and I wanted Skylar to reflect that.
Skylar is different! It has a very unique concept, but I haven't really been able to show my readers what it's truly all about, because there are still some pieces I'm missing. One of those pieces are sponsors.
I am looking for businesses, entrepreneurs and blogs who would like to advertise on my blog...right now you can advertise for as low as $5.00 a month.
However, I am also looking for product sponsors. Promoting products is a big part of our concept. I'm looking for various types of products to write reviews about and also feature on my models.
I have my own models that I work with. They live in different states. There is no travel involved, they get to do everything from home. Whatever I need modeled I ship to them, they are given instructions and a deadline and once they finish their photos are submitted to me via email or Facebook.
The models need clothes, jewelry, and other wearables to model in and I'm looking for sponsors who can provide them. They also need beauty related stuff such as makeup and hygiene products, because healthy skin, nails, hair and smiles are important!
Having your products featured on a model is a great way to promote your business and products. The pictures could be featured in any of our content, it can be fashoin or non-fashion related. For instance...it could be a post about dating, even though it's not a fashion related post, she still needs something to wear. It could also be for a product review or a sponsored post.
Whenever your products are featured on the blog we will let the readers know who the sponsor is and there will also be links to the sponsors store/website so the readers can visit and shop. If it is a non-fashion related post that info will be at the bottom of the post, if it is fashion related it will go under the photo.
I am interested in doing some fashion and beauty editorials which would feature products from various companies. I would love to do some giveaways also, especially for fall and the upcoming holiday season.
