Etsy are offering members of this team the opportunity to maximise their SEO - Search Engine Optimisation, or in other words your on-line visibility, see below for more details.

This program, available only for Teams, will start on May 1st. During the month, your Team-mates will partner up and work together to improve their SEO. Each participating seller will receive a workbook to go through the Month, with resources and weekly exercises to do with his partner :

- First week: Meet your partner and analyse your shop based on its statistics
- Second week : Research keywords for your shop and your listings
- Third week : Edit your listings and your shop to improve relevancy
- Fourth week : Improve your popularity by increasing the number of links to your shop.

Best traffic sources for my stores.
1. Etsy and Etsy app
2. Direct Traffic
3. Google

Best Etsy traffic sources for my stores.

3. Listings

Top Counties for my stores
1. US
2. UK
3. Europe

Most Viewed for my stores
1. Shop
2. Curtains - paisley
3. Blue jug
4. Cat Brooch

Most Fav
1. Curtains - paisley
2. Blue jug
3. Vanity Set

Treasuries
1. Curtains
2. Jug
3. Vanity Set

Reason for success of last two categories
1. Vanity set appeared in treasury
2. Cat brooch unknown (but still trending?)
3. Curtains appeared in treasury
4. Jug appeared in treasury - now sold

A few odd anomalies - large amount of shop views, some peaks in these views, unknown reason. Large amount of views to pictures, no real reason (other than some pictures by a popular artist in there?), and kitchen section, again no reason. High shop traffic from one area to another - shop customers must be engaged and happily browsing.

That's me so far. And you two, what did you find?

So, this has been interesting, as I didn’t even realise you could select different time periods to view in stats until I did this because I NEVER look at my stats- but I’m glad I did, because now I feel much less deflated about my current lack of orders, apparently April and May were order-less last year and the year before…..weddings are a bit seasonal I guess…!

Drop in views, favourites and sales due (educated guess) to time of year, summer brides already have their dresses....and the dip is the calm before the Halloween-and-the-autumn/winter-weddings storm....

The peak in tweed corset, military corset & puff skirt, and ivy corset favourites all coincide with me replacing the display images with part photo-part illustration versions to better display design.

In terms of targets, I'd like more views from Etsy, Facebook and Google...
that's my lot.

I have noticed that the listings that are viewed and favourited more often are the ones with visually interesting photos that show up well as thumbnails.

I have had a decrease in views and favourites over the last month or so. I think this happened because I temporarily closed my shop and then reopened it again.

I would like to work on getting more views from Etsy and Google, and from France and Germany. I have started going through the keywords for my listings, removing terms that customers aren't likely to search for and replacing them with terms that customers have searched for in the past. I am also fully translating my shop into French and German.
