getting ready for the holidays

So I'm changing my tags for Christmas.....

I'm adding tags like
-girl/boy gifts
stocking stuffers
toddler gifts
etc.

Should I add things to my titles as well?
I'm at a loss, I'm basically getting less than a view per item a day (like less views each day than items I have listed).
I'd like to ramp it up, but I don't know what to do.

I am in the same boat ast you. I have about 120 items and averge less than that on any day. I started adding similar tags to my items as well... but I always wonder if they are more likely to show up if the are tagged and titled the same...

Would love some tips!

What is up with Etsy? We are having low views too. If anything, one would think things would be busier with the impending holidays.

I would suggest that you refrain from using the tag 'stocking stuffer' as its not allowed on Etsy.

Do people arrive at your shop using the search term 'gift'? With the millions of items on Etsy and the fact that most could be considered as a gift, do you think that's a good use of a tags?

Right now there are 2.2 million items tagged as gift.

If I were you, I'd be reviewing my titles and tags and making sure that the key words and phrases that a buyer would be more likely to use are there.

I think that people are not etsy shopping this holiday. It seems like everyone I talk to is in the same boat including me :(
