1. I am a curtain designer and I have just been exposed to the Etsy platform for almost 3 months. I found that Etsy is really a great platform. There are many people who like crafts and there are many interesting products. I am still learning how to share my products and how to let more people see my products.
2. As a seller from China, I found that there are a lot of discussions about Chinese sellers, and there are a lot of negative information about sellers from China. Fortunately, there are still many buyers who like my products and bought them. Thank them!
3. Regarding the transportation of goods, because I ship from China, international transportation has brought a lot of uncertainty. I often worry that the goods are not delivered in time, so I often check the transportation of goods. Fortunately, Some commodities arrive at their destinations in about 8-15 days. What surprises me is, will customers give up buying because they have been waiting for too long for shipping?

First of all as an American, I do not see the Asian hate that is portrayed and promoted by certain Media types. Secondly if I or any of my friends heard such conversations they would not tolerate that type of behavior, so I would not be concerned about that.

Third we are living in a world of instant gratification, however if you explained the delivery time line and were able to send them a fabulous product, i feel that they will wait. My Moto has always been better to under promise and over deliver. Tell them it will take longer then try to ensure that it will be delivered earlier so that they will be please. Give them a little something extra, a hand written note  and or a little gift.

Advertising does help with the added exposure. I played around with the dollar amount per day and found that $7.00 a day gave my business so much exposure that I had to cut back because I was overwhelmed with orders. I do this part time. You can always adjust and change your advertising budget at any time.
