Shop Stats Question

Have a quick question...

What does it mean when one of the Etsy Traffic Sources in the Etsy Stats says
"Another Shops Listing" ? I see it in my stats every once in a while.

I think it is a relatively new feature which most sellers do not like:
when you look at an item in a Shop - not yours - it will say "you may be interested in similar items" (or something like that) and show a couple pics from different shops.

You know what - I just tried it and I do not see what I just said, perhaps it is/was a test. But I'm pretty sure what that means.

Yes, I think Patricia is correct. That is what I was going to suggest.

If you have two shops, and link to your other shop this could also be the case. (I have two shops, so I know this is part of the traffic).
Mostly, it's probably from the suggestions that come up at the bottom when you are shopping and click on an item, other "items you might also like" from other shops come up. Do a search yourself and pretend to be a buyer and see what we are talking about. :)

Many of my views from 'another shops listings' come from my cross promotion with other shops.

For example, a soap seller purchases my soap dish for use as a photo prop and mentions in the listing that the dish was from my shop.

I in turn use one of their photos to show off my dish and mention that the photo is courtesy of their shop.
