Hi!
I would DEFINTELY recommend setting up a new account with the name you want now. Because what will happen like I have seen with so many others is, you will get a few months in, rack up some sales, and then wish you had done it to start. A memorable name (and one people can spell easily) will do wonders for your branding.
It might seem like a hassle but it will be even more of a hassle once you get good feedback/sales. DO IT NOW!!!
Your avatar is pretty, your products look good. It's hard starting out as there is a lot of information to digest. I haven't had a chance to check out your shop properly yet, but here are some basic start-up tips:
1. List at least 20 items. Try listing some things with generic words, Love, Mum (for mothers day coming up in the UK and later in USA) Cherish, Daughter. Use your imagination to show what people could do.
2. Make a new new banner (not an Etsy default one) using pictures of your items and a funky font. How about stamping your new shop title on a piece of metal and taking a photo of that? Something funky and original will stand out.
3. Start a blog. Post daily on facebook and your blog, pictures of works in progress, snippets of your life and family, tools, etsy things you love!
4. READ READ READ! The Etsy Success seris, blogs, forum posts. Gather as much information as you can for your new business!
Good luck! Glad you found us, try the Daily Tip Thread for lots of fun little tips too :-)
