Hi all, I've caught up on my follows again since my last update. Regarding my Feb 27 9:39 note page 7 above, I have followed all of you up to this note and in less than two days I increased my followers by 100%.
I feel more connected to you all, and I want to see your successes. I do have a question. I want to share, but if ppl don't want to hear it, I don't want to bug. I mentioned that my background is marketing, and though I delt in the millions, it really all boils down to marketing 101. I'm going to start a separate thread on that, because of people are interested, I believe we have a lot to learn from one another. If you'd rather not have this type of detailed ideas, just give that as feedback. I won't be offended, I am here to learn. I find the best way to learn is to talk about what you are interested in, you get new ideas. Pls don't take offense to "pros" "cons", it's just marketing way of getting to the point. And sometimes when you question a pro or con you come up with a whole new idea. Brainstorming is "my thing"... So here goes...
There is a difference in this type of followers, and the ones you get with the method I detailed on page 7, Feb 27 9:39 pm.
Chain mail: The process we are in.
Pros: Great opp to see others goods and be more connected to other new Etsians; watch how others grow their shops and convo them or on this team. Definite increase in exposure as you come up on new peoples activity pages every time you take a future action. Fast, easy to do.
Cons: We all sell different items, and our markets (customers) are likely not overlapping that much; and we me even sell very similar items, giving exposure via our own efforts to others goods (I'm all for support, but if a customer is going to my a "wiggit" (your product)I want them to buy mine. This process thakes more time.
Targeted new followers (per page 7):
Pros: It get's you more customers that are likely to buy because they favourite items such as yours, or other items that feel like they like your style
Once they follow you, you get access to ppl that likely like your types of goods. You increase your followers quicker, my study was 12% of the ppl I followed using this method, chose to follow me.
Cons: Takes more time, however can me done in chunks. It's an ongoing process. To further you would need an app or time and patience to map out how effective this is for a take rate (purchase).
I'm sure that there is more that can be done with this, however, I want feedback before I take it past my initial test. Anyone want to share your thoughts?
