How can I improve this item?

How can I best improve the SEO and the item description, etc on this item? Anyone have suggestions as to how to make it pop more and be found "out there"? I have several similar ones in other colors that are on their way up on Etsy, eventually.

I like this type of photograph best. It's simple, bright, and colourful. I think the stand is kind of distracting for your listing photo.

Also consider photographing someone wearing the earrings so shoppers can see what they will look like on. Check out how other shops photograph their earrings as well, and look up which pages your earrings show up on to see how they appear next to other listing photos.

I totally loved making things with these plastic beads when I was kid! Possible listing title and tag words - geekery, geek jewelry, dangle earring, multicolor earrings, sterling silver, handmade jewelry, funky earrings, etc.

Thank you so much! I do agree with you a lot when it comes to the stand taking too much focus off the earrings themselves, I do like the orange ones better myself so I appreciate you telling me this, I will probably not use the black stand as the first photo but do them more like the orange ones.

I have considered taking photos of people wearing the jewelry, just need to find someone who wants to be a model first ;) If no one else will I guess I'll have my fiance take photos of me with them, it's not like I have to show very much really :)

I was insecure as to wether I was allowed to use two words in my tag words, therefore they're not as straight forward as I like them to be, I think I need to read more about what's really going on with SEO, it's not my strong suite ;)

This may just be my germaphobic nature speaking, but I personally am put off by seeing earrings worn by someone when there is only one listed or they are ooak. Someone else may have better in sight on the general public's view on this.

Michelle, that could be true for a lot of people, it is indeed a risk to put such photos in the shop and I know people aren't always reading the text properly so even if I state in the item description that it's another pair than the exact shown ones people might be put off.

I have bought a necklace & bracelet on etsy without it being modeled by a person, so I don't think it's a big deal that the earrings aren't being shown that way. Tags that have worked for me are birthday present for sister or mom & holiday tags work too. Try them & see what happens. I'm new to etsy but I'm learning a lot.

Thanks Rosy! I've never used models for my jewelry in my Swedish webshop and people have always bought things from there without hesitating, it shouldn't be much different here either. I don't want to risk loosing customers becuase they think someone else have worn the piece they are looking to buy.
