Thank you for the invitation. My name is Cindy Hayes and I love to take recycled materials and use them in my work. My favorite things are vintage fabrics, lace, parchment paper, buttons, and beads.

Hello everyone!
I am Marta, I'm from Lonato, a small city in the north of Italy.
I make jewelry by macramè, I love to create new shapes and pattern, I started making owls then somebody told me "why don't you make a flower? why don't you make a fish?" and so they are!!!
I love using bright colors to create contrasts, and sometimes just fine lace work.

I've enjoyed sharing cyber space with all my talented fellow teammates here. My creations are as unique as my name, which I disliked while growing up but adore the originality of it as an artist. I was named after my Sicilian Nana; (whom I loved to make laugh because her entire face would light up). My first introduction to art as a young girl was sitting on my Nanu's lap watching in awe as he would draw pictures of detailed ships from the old country onto kitchen napkins with his ball point pen. One of my life's regrets is not saving some of those masterpieces.

I never cease to be amazed by the enormous talent people posess within them! Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. You have left one small legacy that no one can ever take away. Congratulations.

Hi everyone I am Myrna... I love to create and make things. I have done this my whole life but got into more when I found Etsy...It is a great stress reliever when I come home from my day job...I was in a rut when my wonderful parents passed away...just sat around sad...then I finally went into my sewing room that is full of things that remind me of those that I love. My mom and dad always encouraged me to create, they purchased me a sewing machine when I was about 7yrs old. My mom could not keep a pillow case in the house (unless she hid them). I started making dolls out of them. I look back now and they were pretty ugly but I loved them and gave them away to friends and cousins. When accepting to join this team I made a joke saying I started sewing at the age of 7 and that was 5 yrs ago. ha ha...Then I realized (and yes I am telling my age) that I have been sewing for 50yrs....wow so hard to believe...I love to create and will until I no longer can...Health issues may some day cause me to stop...but not until I have no choice...I look forward to being on the team..

I'm Ema from Portugal... "Ema's Corner" opened 4 months ago. Everything began with some Xmas decorations that I made last year...

I'm a psychologist and a professional trainer, and truth be told this was never a goal in my life, but it has become one!

I'm working with one traditional fabric from Madeira Island. All my pieces are originals and are entirely designed, handmade and hand cut by me, witch makes every piece unique :)

I create and design bags of all kinds, whatever strikes me, whatever comes to me. I have a love for textures and colors and mixing and blending things that other people might not at first think would look good together until they see it. My choices are often bold, but they are mine. I don't take myself too seriously. I believe I am the funniest person on earth and crack myself up regularly. I probably think I am much funnier than anyone else does. If you were in the room with me, you would probably try to have me hospitalized bc of the random laughter.
