So happy to finish and list this cut and paste collage. First collage of 2018! Entitled: "Orben's Day Out." This piece also comes along with a little story I wrote, printed on lovely calligraphy paper.
"To say that Orben loved the springtime was an understatement. The feathery pink skies and blue mountain days set his heart on fire and put a sparkle in his step.
On these warm and glowing spring days, Orben and Juniper, (his four-legged best friend), would head out at first light and return home just before the darkness set in. They could spend the entire day romping and skipping, and sometimes, just doing nothing in the shade of the blue mountains.
On one particular warm day, Orben and Juniper found their way off the beaten pathway, above an old cabin under the April moon. Just as they decided to stop for a rest, a cool breeze whistled by and the fluttering of confetti colored butterflies filled the air. In a whirlwind of curiosity, Orben and Juniper were propelled into an unfamiliar landscape....a new world....."
