Well, I'm on it! This is the second cut and paste collage of 2018. This is a character study for the book I'm writing called "Gerushia's New World." This piece is entitled: "Ora and Pansy's Unforgettable Journey."

In this piece, Ora and Pansy have strayed off the familiar path and have found themselves a little too close to Serafine's fire.

You see, Serafine is the evil that haunts "Gerushia's World." She lives just on the outskirts, up on the fiery mountain. Her goal is to lure the good folks of Gerushia's World up to her mountain so she can burn their souls. The constantly burning fire is her life source.

So excited to get this piece listed in my Etsy shop. It's the third cut and paste collage of 2018 and the first time I've ever used actual string on a collage!

This piece is entitled : "Lollianna and Georgina Ray's Spectacular Celebration." It comes along with a little story I wrote printed onto lovely calligraphy paper.

"Lollianna and Georgina Ray were expecting to have a magnificent time at the springtime celebration. The whole town had been preparing for weeks. So much food....so many games and thousands of balloons! Of all the things in the world, Georgina Ray loved balloons the most, especially red balloons!

The girls woke up extra early on the morning of the celebration. They wanted to look their best and they both wore their loveliest dresses. Everyone who was anyone was there, all roaring to have a spectacular day.

The first thing Georgina Ray spotted when she walked into the party was a giant handful of red balloons, but alas ~ the balloons belonged to Katsa, AND, it appeared that they were the only red balloons to be had. Katsa was the town beauty. Everyone knew who she was, but....not everyone liked her. She had a mean streak and a cruel mouth. She could punch your heart into a million pieces with very few words. She was bad like that!

Lollianna knew that she would never be able to sweet talk Katsa into giving Georgina Ray that bright red handful of floating balloons. So, she came up with an idea that, not only would allow Georgina Ray to get those balloons, but, it might just put Katsa in her place once and for all....."
