Learning through DVD

I can't afford lessons, but I wanted to continue to learn how to dance in the ballet style since I stopped going in Middle School simply because I felt I didn't have time. Anyone know of good DVDs to learn a little bit from, to practice to?

Have you tried Ballet Beautiful? I havn't but I've heard good thing...that's the only one i can think of though...Hope that helps :)

Also I am sure there are great online pictures and videos. If you are over 18 there may be more afffordable classes at a junior college near you. Also the ABT (American Ballet Theater) website has great shots, they have a facebook fan page and they post videos too! :)

I bought a couple from Ebay

One was Ballet Class for Beginners and if you just type in Ballet DVD you can see what they have and get ratings on it. I got a tap dancing one too.

Perhaps your local library has ballet instructional dvds and books? Google Finis Jhung, he has a great collection of dvds on ballet technique, from beginning to advanced. They are well worth the price. You can also find excerpts on his site and youtube to help you decide which dvd would be right for you.
