Twelve years ago I had no idea how much those classes would change not only their lives but mine and my husband's as well. My husband and I relocated to Houston with them 6 years ago so they could continue their studies. Now they are all professionals and I have become a dance wear designer. I'm Katharine. I've been dancing all my life pretty much. Mainly ballet, but also tap, contemporary, flamenco and other forms. I'm now a mum to two, age 6 and 3, and my daughter dances too.
I've also always sewn, can't really remember learning I just absorbed it from my mum over the years. I started out making ballet skirts for my dancing friends and myself and I enjoyed it so much I thought I would take it one step further.
At the moment I'm just making adult and teen skirts but soon I hope to add children's skirts too.

I'd love it if you would take a look and support my shop and I can do the same for you.

What a great team, can't believe I've only just found this!
I have danced since I was three in ballet, ballroom, Spanish, jazz, contemporary and some Irish, safe to say I LOVE dance!

Now I am 20 and I study at the Royal Academy of Dance in London which my Etsy shop helps to fund. My shop was inspired by what my colleagues at uni needed for their hair so it was safe but stunning. Hope you like it!

I grew up doing ballet, but failed to grow quite tall enough so I became a distance runner. Fast forward a few decades and the Y I worked for needed to develop a gymnastics program, so since I had a dance background and was willing to do the training, I became a gymnastics teacher and still do that full time. My Etsy shop came about when I left the rural Oregon coast and moved to New York. It is primarily dance and gymnastics leotards, but my secret desire is to start making tutus!

I spent years putting my feet under couches, pinching my achilles tendons and bruising my heels to get a better point. After many years of stretching and strengthening exercises, I can say my feet became much more flexible.

Hi there, everyone! My name is Larissa. I took ballet lessons from ages 2-18, a semester in college, and then didn't dance for about 15 years. Last year, a studio opened up near my apartment that offers adult ballet, and I've been going regularly, and even am back up on pointe, though I have a LOT of room for improvement!

My day job is as a lingerie designer, so for my etsy shop, I combined my love of ballet with my love of beautiful, high quality laces, and I make glamorous lace ballet slipper & pointe shoe bags. They're super breathable and practical, so your shoes last longer and don't get stinky, but are very sophisticated and pretty. Hi I'm Suzanne, a dancer from way back, when I was a teenager. I still love dancing and it inspires me in everything I do. In my studio, my husband built me a barre so that I can stretch and do barre work in between sewing and painting.

My Etsy shop offers dance inspired wall hangings, pendants for your favorite dancer and prints of my artwork. I am a quilter for many years now and my Delightful Devas are quilted from fabric and then photographed and mounted on canvas to hang on the wall. I LOVE Etsy!
