She's very particular, so yes, it is too wide. I've been poking around a while now, and I don't think it's a common size. Most of what I've seen is either 1/2" or 3/4", or just the wrong color!

Okay, I have another one... I was contacted by a fellow seller who is looking for *inexpensive* broken Bakelite pieces she can buy to use as reference pieces. If you have any other notable broken pieces that would be useful, I think she would consider it - think galalith, cellulose acetate, etc. I am selling her a broken celluloid bangle and some loose Bakelite beads.
