According to the new Community update, with no longer have a place to promote one another in an open forum atmosphere.
I would like to start this new way to promote each other, which I'm sure it will increase each other SEO popularity through increasing our backlinks.

How it works

A. Posting the image:

1- Open the listing that you would like to promote.
2- Choose the image of your listing.
3- Point your mouse on the image and press right click.
4- Select "open link in new tab".
5- In the new tab copy the image link and paste it in the reply field.
6- Select the image and click on insert/edit link button, paste the link in URL field then click OK.

B. Posting the title:

1- Open the listing that you would like to promote.
2- Type the title - don't copy & paste - in the reply field.
3- Back to your listing, copy first part of the listing link - ending just before the ? mark.
4- back to your reply field, select all the title you typed in step 2.
5- Click on insert/edit link button, then paste the link in URL field then click OK.
6- Post your reply - it should look like the example below.

Repeat steps for each listing and as much as you want.

This way you are improving your SEO with Etsy and most of other search engines such as Google etc.

@LaziniArtsHi ! The code link used in the forum has a "no follow" tag so it won't be follow by Google's bots : don'you have the same conclusion ?

Most of people here don't post their pictures with the text linked as you explain, maybe they can't, as me... what is your internet brownser which have the possibility to "insert/edit link button" ? Thank you for your answer. :) (sorry for my bad english)

Hi!

You are right, it has "no follow" tag, for the time being, and if you use it as it is; it's only useful within Etsy community, hence with search results within Etsy.

According to my own experience; most of my buyers are Etsy store owners reached them through such promoting posts.

I'm using Chrome browser, I think it only works with Laptops and desktops, but not sure if it works with cellphones.

If you find a way for bots to follow these posts, please let me know.
