A BNS stands for Buy and Stay. Basically, the leader or captain of the team makes a treasury of items from members of the team. Because this is the first BNS of the team, people who signed up for the team got dibs on a "free spot" in the treasury. From here on out, if you make a purchase from any of the shops featured in the treasury (it doesn't have to be the item listed), you get a spot in the next round. The higher the purchase amount, the more rounds you get featured in. It is a fun way to support other Etsy shops and get sales for your shop! Connections on Etsy = sales! So that is what we are trying to promote! I didn't start BNS's until a couple of weeks ago, but as soon as I did I fell in love! I have met so many great people, and I'm sure you will too!
So just drop on into the treasury and favorite things on the board, in the shops featured, etc. And if you want, you can also buy and get featured :) Even a couple dollar purchase will get you into the next round for a chance to make sales too!
Shops also typically post coupon codes when they are featured to bring people to their shops! All of this is done in the BNS itself. Feel free to invite as many people as you want. After all, the more people who are here, the more sales we are bound to get!
