How many views per day are 'normal'?

I've been reading thru the forums, with people lamenting they get 'hundreds' of views per day and no sales.

I get only about 6 views per day on average.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or are the hundreds per day a myth?

I only get 5-10 views per day, if you post in the forums you can get heaps but they are just lookers, not really genuine buyers, although you might get an impulse buy from them.
I think its mostly Americans & other countries that get the hundreds of views per day, or that's what I tell myself so I feel better about my low stats....

Thanks Kristy, I was thinking the same too. I've been surprised at how much more traffic I get to my website than views on etsy! But I'll keep it up, sales are still sales. :-). Just need to adjust my etsy expectations

I have read posts regarding how there is so much jewellery on Etsy that it can be really hard to be found. I guess good SEO & tags are really important, but every time I think I have mine right someone will tell me I am doing it wrong :( I was told the other day that the first 3 words of your title are important to SEO & to not start with 1x something, as that wastes 2 of the 3 words

Kristy, I was told the same. We need to keep titles to the point and not add flowery words like beautiful or fantastic etc. Views don't always lead to sales, but they do help in getting your store out there. I try to find as many other avenues out there to promote items. Usually these sites will lead to further views and possible sales!

I average about 50 views a day but a lot come from the treasuries I make. I love checking the map and seeing the different countries, great tool :)

I get from 30 to 100 a day. I have paintings so my seo cover a large search variety.

I only opened my store about a week ago and I've had no sales but I've been getting about 30-60 views a day ☼

Yep same here i get heaps of views cause of my treasuries but no 1st sale yet..i wonder how ill get my sales..ill be so excited wen i get my first sale ..i think ill do a happy dance too xx

this thread is very useful to me, thanks! as I'm new to etsy it "comforts" me to read experiences shared by you all. However I'm still not sure if this etsy thing will work for me (more views if you participate at forums yet no sales, yet). I'm still learning the market and its taste, I guess.

I get anywhere from 100 to 300 views a day. It helps with search etc but doesn't mean you'll get more sales.
Just do the best you can with titles tags, descriptions and photos. That's what will count.
It only takes one view from the right person to get a sale.
