help getting started

hi Team!

I have had the invite to join the team sitting idly there for a while, knowing one day I would join because I want to make the leap to selling photography and art prints on etsy.

Although I have been on etsy for 3 years, I admit I might need some help as I am finding the thought of leaping into my second store a bit daunting.

I would love to know whether you sell photography prints or merchandise featuring your photography on etsy, whether you print them yourselves, or if you use another party who that party is.... if its not too nosy!

If I get my work printed as prints, cards, card sets, or notebooks, by someone else, does this fit within the etsy handmade rules?

I am very excited to think I will be opening as FizzyLoveStarry as soon as I am ready, but as you can tell it is making me feel like a rookie newbie all over again!

Hi Starry,
It's fine to get your work printed by an outside printer...I like to do my own as I have more control and can print an order as soon as I receive it...but then I don't have a local printer who does a good job at a reasonable price....look foward to seeing your work...your jewelry is lovely and so reasonably priced..you'll have no trouble with running another store. Why not just jump in and open it now!

Well, I'm not sure about printing myself simply because I can't afford to burn through the printer cartridges, lol. I am going to spend some time looking at printing costs from different places - though your idea of printing off only what has sold will save me some money, thanks!
