Thank you Nora. I'm always stretching my license, it get's me in trouble. Yes, the key and feather are symbolic with me, they have shown up in other artworks.
My main reason is, I can't paint a convincing flower, so I had to try to make an interesting painting using the rose, and I've been wanting to do a large steampunk/industrial with feminine overtones.
Each piece is practice for something else.
