Good Morning
To remind everyone here is our list of challenges. You can always add more suggestions.......
DR1. Rose DONE
RB 2. single tree with leaves (2) X image
SW 3. single flower of choice (4) X image RE: O'Keefe ala flower DONE
SK 4. Piece of fruit or vegetable (3) DONE
ASK 5. Moving dog (1) (I can provide a picture or it can be optional)
MGC 6. single bird feather (3) your choice of bird, or make one up. X image
NL 7. Zebra (1) image provided

I marked the ones we have painted
If anyone wants to add something to the list, now is the time.
According to this list # 6 would be our next painting, a single feather.
We will decide for sure the 26 th of February in case some one wants to add a new suggestion.

and will one day get my peacock feather done.
Need to do a dog painting for someone first....well actually I need to do 2 dog and 1 peony paintings.

Nora did you take those pictures yourself? They are just beautiful. I would love to live in an area where wild animals roam like that. To be able to see nature at it's finest. The most wild animals we have are ravens, even so I think that the birds out here are pretty tame.

Just wondering if anyone has started their Zebra painting yet? I have, but I have a ways to go.

Yes Nadean I did take these . . . We have a small reserve called Tala Game Reserve about 30 minutes from our home where the zebra are quite tame and therefor quite easy to photograph . . . It is a great afternoon out or a spoil if you fell like a hearty lunch at their hotel . . .This is a very typical pose . . . Mother and baby. . .

Haven't started mine yet . . . But will get onto it soon

This week looks to be crazy for me again. Grandfather had a heart attack and is in the hospital, flat tire, and sick kids. Sigh... one of these days I'll do the challenge!

I third Nora's suggestion Donnarose!! Zebra with a feather!! I haven't started mine yet.... I suddenly got very busy. Perhaps I'll combine this challenge painting with my own personal 30 day challenge! 2 birds...and all that!

What was I thinking . . . Do you know how many stripes there are on one zebra . . . Never mind two. Slow progress. I was going to suggest that Trish . . . I just can't believe that you get so much done in a day. Joining this teams challenges has forced me to at least finish one per month. Happy painting.

So sorry to hear about your grandfather Rachel.

I am almost done with my Zebra. I still have another coat to do and some detailing but I'm extremely excited with the way it's coming out. I would say that I will have it done in the next week or two.

Thanks so much for that heartwarming treasury Nora! I am feeling quite better and have started on my zebra painting. It will be small though because I still tire easily.

Ok I'm totally out of it. Do we gave an official zebra painting challenge?
I did paint a monocramatic painting g but it is uglyyyyyyyyyyy. Leaving for California Sunday night and won't be home until the 17th of June. Guess I'll just get further behind.
