Re: How to promote ourselves?

Donnarose, your shop needs NO help. Beautiful work, and well put together! Some of us, however, actually do need help! I can't seem to get new work produced as quickly as I would like, I think that my photography needs professional help, and those darn key words that are supposed to get you noticed in SEO!!! Sometimes I just lose patience.

Re: How to promote ourselves?

Trish, hi there. I know you from our fb pages:) First off, i love your work. And your glasses are very attractive. I'm wondering which you sell more of, your paintings or your glass paintings? I do think you are correct that you might need some help in the photography area where the glasses are concerned. I think maybe too much going on with the wine glass and the skull thingy. May try some different things, even as smooth as a white background. Your glasses are so bright and colorful i don't think you would need more. Like you i have trouble finding time to get new work produced. I just have to schedule paint time and try to stick to it. Difficult when working a full time day job and taking care of elderly family, ect with no help but it can be done even if it isn't as fast as one would like. Just keep plodding away like the tortoise does in the tortoise and the hare:)

Re: How to promote ourselves?

Donnarose, hi:)

Like Trish says, your shop really needs no help but since you're putting yourself out there I'll play the critic. In some of your pictures you have what looks like a paper towel as the background to a painting. I think that might take away from the beautiful piece of art you have created and that the photos that only show the painting and nothing but the painting are the real winners!
Hope I've helped a teeny bit. Ok your turn to critique!
