Hi everyone! I just joined this group, and am excited to connect with you all!
I'm currently planning a small fundraiser for my local SPCA in Tompkins County, New York, and would like to get a couple of other artists/artisans to join me. My plan is to donate a percentage of my profits for a period of a month, and to hold an auction of a piece of art on the last day. All of the proceeds from the auction would go directly to the shelter.
If you would like to join me so we can make this a larger fundraiser, I would be ecstatic! I'd really like to make a meaningful donation, and my business is still on the smaller side. The SPCA offers advertising for fundraisers, and we could also promote each other, so this is a good way to get some exposure for your business and build up good will, as well as doing some good for our furry little friends.
