Would you consider my items as art?

I have had a lot of people, including some wildlife artists, say that my woodworking is a form of art. Do you agree and if so, what kind of art would it be considered for listing on etsy? Any suggestions are welcome.

Sure, why not? I think you'd be better served to promote them as artful children's toys and decor. People will be spending on kids and kids would love those puzzles.

Hi Dayle--I would say many of your items are examples of very well done beautiful "functional art".
Art, just as beauty, is totally in the eye of the beholder. There is art in the work of a fine craftsperson, and that is what you are.

I've seen similar items being sold in galleries, art festivals, and co-ops.

I'm curious; do you design your products yourself, or use existing woodworking patterns? If they're you own patterns, I think you should use your shop announcement to play up that you are also a designer.
