Need critique on new work

From the photo, it took me a few moments to figure out what I was looking at, although even not realizing it was a bride, it captured my attention and interest.
It may be that it is easier to "read" in person, but I think it would benefit from at least a suggestion of her back. What was your inspiration and what were you attempting to say in this painting--and what medium did you do it in? It reminded me of the weddings that take place on the beach, and maybe the bride's memory of her wedding....very interesting!

It was a residual memory of a wedding that took place on the beach. My inspiration was my own wedding. I used coffee, ink and watercolor to create it. Perhaps if I told the story in the description, that may help the viewer.

I have never heard of painting with coffee!! Definitely relate the story--it would make it all the more meaningful, and would touch another beach bride. Or, wouldn't it make a fantastic wedding gift?!

Good Golly Miss Molly! You have given me some new inspiration and ideas! Tea, Coffee and Wine! Who knew?

It pays to experiment. LOL! Depending on the wine you can get a nice reddish or purplish/brownish hue. The tea is a very light creamy color. I wish also Iron the paper when it is still damp to darken the coffee if I feel I need a darker color.
