Critiques on my work.

Hello all. I just discovered this site, I am excited and a bit scared but I would love some feedback on my work.
I am from Norway and sell quite a bit of my work here, but not so much internationally.
The pop surreal scene in Norway is more or less non existent so I don't have many other artists to compare and talk to.
If any of you have the time I am interested in hearing your views on my characters faces. Do you think it works; the wonkey way I place the eyes, or should I try and go "more normal"?

Hi Anne,
I think the eyes work well as you have placed them;
but if 'the spirit moves you' trying something different on the next piece to see how it will look is always a good idea.

Anne, your work is beautiful, and it looks like you've developed a unique visual language. It's important that viewers recognize your "fingerprint", you style.
The only thing I can suggest is to scan it professionaly, or in higher resolution, so you can sell larger prints. I think they will be amazing in large scale.

Hi Anne--I think your work is otherworldly and stunning. Your color pallet, and style is all your own. I have to say that the asymmetrical handling of the eyes does bother me. Just my opinion--others will not object. I prefer the slightly larger eye, and would like to see them match.
Just the way I'm wired!!

Oh wow thank you guys! This is a bit of a confidence boost! I think I will try out some where the eyes are the same size. And bigger prints would be a good idea too. Thank you again!!

As a general rule, never ever try to be more "normal" or anything other then what you are. And I think you are amazing. I love your work, it's moody, it's whimsical, the colors are unique and evocative....just love it. And as you can tell from my artwork, anything involving animal illustrations is just my cup of tea. <3
