Hi my name is Sari and my friend and I recently opened a textile design store on Etsy. We sell handmade textiles using individual pieces of thread to create a unique design. We arent really sure how to promote our store yet, and would love any advice you all have!

I just opened a small shop where I (hope) to sell hand-beaded ornaments and a few beaded jewelry pieces. I would also love any advice on promoting my store. I am concerned because I offer primarily holiday items, although I do offer some custom machine embroidery, as well.

I am a teacher in Colorado, and enjoy making my crafts. Everyone I gift them to loves them, but I am running out of people to gift my items to and room to store them in my house!

I am a teacher in Virginia, and I've been drawing and doing all kinds of things throughout my life: sawing, knitting, tried oil painting, embroidery, cross stitching, some jewelry making, and most of it has gone to friends and relatives.
Now, I've decided to post them here (I recently found Etsy) and try to see what happens. Hopefully I will be able to sell some, I'm not looking to strike it rich, but selling some of them would be great, and the extra money would help out.

I my name is Mechelle and I sew any and everything I can. Right now I'm working on nurses' uniforms. When all those are completed I move on to aprons. All the time purchasing items to repurpose. I have a sewing pattern shop called "OhSewWorthIt" on etsy as well. I'm having the time of my life since I retired. Just my hubby, dog, and me. We are also emptynesters of 6 kids and 16 grandkids around the USA. Great country to be living in.
This is freedom. And it's wasn't free. I spent 35 years of nursing to get it. And I'm excited..

I am an 27 years old artist with a diploma of Visual Arts.
At the moment I am fascinated of creating paper sculptures using paper mache technique. Each sculpture is a unique artwork. Somtimes it takes days to create one paper animal piece. I love to see each animal sculpture coming alive in the process of creating it.

I am a science teacher in CO. I am married to the most patient man in the universe, and we have four 4-legged kids. We love the outdoors, sponsor our local high school fishing club, fish, and hunt. In my spare time, I bead and create embroidery work on my machine. I converted our spare bedroom to a craft room, and I think I may have to take over our home office!

Hello, I am a single mom of a 14 year old Autistic son. I have driven a 73 foot long semi from 2009 to April 2012. I then opened a physical store in Goodyear, AZ, sales are slow so I thought I would try opening a shop online and Etsy looked the best. I make Soy Candles, soaps, bath and body products and Jewelry at this time and am always expanding my horizon to new ideas. Looking forward to the support and knowledge this team can give. I am Tracey and I opened my shop very recently on Etsy. I am selling adult collectable animals of all kinds - dogs, cats, teddy bears anything that comes to mind or people ask for. I work full time so make these when I have chance and because I enjoy it. I have been selling at craft fairs but years ago I was making just collectable teddy bears in mohair and supplied quite a few shops. It will be interesting to see how this goes.
