2020 and the Etsy Forums
2020 saw you share all the highs, lows, challenges and questions you faced in running a business across 515,000+ posts on 49,000+ threads and counting! The most popularly discussed topics included shop critiques, Etsy Ads, listing videos, the business impacts of COVID-19, and social media marketing.
We launched the Community Spotlight feature this year, and look forward to sharing more great threads of note in 2021.
2020 in Milestones
The milestone threads were certainly a bright spot in the Etsy Forums this year, as sellers celebrated their wins, big or small! From PrintablePepper getting her first sale within a month of opening her shop to EvesLittleEarthlings celebrating her 11th year on Etsy, you have achieved a great deal during an unprecedented year. We posted 10 threads this year (with a special end of year edition right around the corner), averaging a little over 160 posts every month and we're excited to keep the momentum going next year!
Spotify: Your Year, all wrapped up
In April, we launched a new channel and filled it with content curated directly by all of you! Our new Spotify channel has been a joy to listen to. It features inspirational music playlists to help the creative juices flow as you work in your shops. From our seven forums threads with 980 replies, we created 10 Spotify playlists, or 49hr 39min of your musical choices. We're so thankful for all of your help in making these shop playlists a success and something truly your own. Nice work everyone!
