Etsy Payments
Within the past few months, Etsy Payments has launched in seven new countries: Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Philippines, South Africa and Turkey. Welcome aboard!
If you are resident in one of these countries, please keep an eye on your Shop Manager for details on when you can enrol. More information on Etsy Payments in general can be found here.
Community Updates
Etsy’s Community Spaces provide tools and resources to help sellers grow their businesses. In the Forums, we share product updates, business insights, trends and strategic advice specifically designed for sellers. Etsy Teams is also a feature we serve for sellers to form communities around how to run successful shops.
As of today, you will need to be a seller with an open shop to participate in our Community Spaces.
Sellers: If you have an open shop, nothing will change for you. Just make sure you are logged onto your Etsy profile in order to access your Teams and engage in the forums.
Buyers: You will still be able to access public areas of the Community Space, however, the content will be read-only. You will no longer be able to start new threads or engage with content in the forums space or Teams. That said, if you joined a private Team before the restriction was in place, you will still be able to access that space if you are logged into your account.
