The new Etsy Seller app is here

Earlier this year, we let you know that we'd be working hard to make the selling platform on Etsy even better. Today, we're excited to share that we’ve modernized and improved the Etsy Seller app to make it even easier to run your business on-the-go. 

If you haven’t already, you can download the new app here: etsy.com/sell-mobile

What’s new? We’ve added features based on extensive research with sellers and kept the features you love (and made them even better). With the modernized Etsy Seller App, you can:

• Know when you have a repeat buyer.
• Add videos and photos directly to your listings.
• Access order details when you’re messaging a buyer.
• US sellers can purchase and print shipping labels.
• Easily manage orders and track shipments.

While most features you know and love are already in the Etsy Seller app, some other features still need some perfecting. For the rest of the year, the original Sell on Etsy app will still be available—that way, you can use the new features in the Etsy Seller app but won’t lose access to the other features we’re still working on. In the meantime, stay up-to-date on the features we’re still working on here.

With the new app technology, we can now make quicker improvements based on your feedback. If you’d like to share your thoughts on the new app with us, you can still do so right from within the app.

Last summer we launched the Etsy Seller app: A new mobile app for sellers that we built from the ground up, based on your feedback. It’s packed with the features you said you use most, making it easier to manage your shop on the go. 

Here’s a recap of what’s currently available in the app:

• Purchase and print shipping labels on domestic orders (US only).
• See who’s shopped with you before with the Repeat Buyer badge 
• Access order details directly from a buyer message

Here’s a list of improvements we’ve launched since last summer:

You can now access the Etsy Seller App in Landscape mode on your iPad devices. Make sure to download the latest version of the app for this experience.

‘Home’ tab:

• News & Activity keeps you informed of the latest updates in your shop.

‘Messages’ tab:

• Create a custom listing for your buyer directly from a message.

‘Listings’ tab:

• Share your listings directly to your Pinterest, Instagram messages, and Facebook.
• Select multiple photos at once to upload to your listings.
• Upload listing videos directly to your listings and edit them.
• Edit and add attributes to your listings.
• Share your listings directly to your Pinterest, Instagram messages, and Facebook. To do this, click on your listing (within the Listings tab), press the three dots on the top right corner, and select 'Share.'
  

‘More’ tab:

• Compare your listing stats from the Stats page.
• Turn on notifications when a buyer favorites your item.
• See and respond to buyer reviews.
• Turn on Vacation Mode and let your sellers know you’re away from your shop.

Here’s a list of improvements that we’re working on:

• Editing and managing your listing variations.
• Manage your shop announcements.
• Share your listings directly to Instagram Posts and Stories.

Note: Some sellers will no longer have access to the Sell on Etsy app starting today as we begin to shut down the app. By May 23, 2023, the old app will no longer be accessible in the App and Google Play stores. Switch to the new Etsy Seller app now to continue managing your shop on your mobile device.
