Each new year brings with it a dose of motivation and creative energy, and we want to help you make 2018 your best year yet. We often hear from sellers that you look for new advice, inspiration, and tips for promoting your shop and products on social media. On January 19, Etsy Admin—in partnership with Etsy’s Social Media team—will review social media posts and provide feedback and specific ideas about things you could try in the future.
We’ll be accepting social media post submissions from 12:00-1:00pm ET and deliver feedback between 1:30pm US ET and 4:00pm US ET.
We’ll consider requests using a random, lottery system, so any seller who posts during the hour could have their social media posts critiqued. (We won’t choose sellers on a a first come, first-served basis.) Please note that thoughtful reviews take time to put together, which means we won’t be able to respond to every request during this session.
**HOW TO PARTICIPATE**
Head into the Discussions section of the Forums on Friday, January 19 at 12pm US ET. You’ll find a “Social Media Post Reviews” thread pinned to the top of the section. You can respond to that thread until 1pm US ET with a link to a specific Facebook or Instagram post that you would like us to review.
Note: You can share only one social media post for the session, so choose wisely! We recommend choosing a post that got lower likes or comments than you expected, so we can share tips on how to make similar posts more effective in the future.
Etsy Admin will share their feedback on a rolling basis from 1:30-4pm US ET. (Not necessarily in the order that the links are received.)
