Shop Updates, a new feature in the Sell on Etsy app

Hi there,

Starting today, some sellers will begin to see a new feature in the Sell on Etsy app called Shop Updates. This is a new tool that makes it easier for you to market your shop on both social media and on Etsy. With Shop Updates, you can upload a photo, tag it with a listing from your shop, then share it across all of your social channels without leaving the Sell on Etsy app. The new Shop Updates feature will make it easier to drive traffic from social media back to your Etsy shop. Shop Updates will appear on your shop home page, the Etsy app and on social media.

We plan on making this feature available for all sellers very soon. If you would like you try the Shop Updates feature before we launch it publicly, you can join the Shop Updates Prototype Team.

The Shop Updates feature is now live to all sellers using the Sell on Etsy app.

We've launched the buyer facing Shop Updates feed in the Etsy App. If you want to see what it looks like for a buyer join this prototype team: https://www.etsy.com/teams/25354/shop-updates-prototype

You'll see 'Shared by shops you like' in the recommended tab. This will be rolled out to all buyers in the coming weeks.

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to let you know that Shop Updates can now be seen by all buyers on the homescreen of the shopping App. If you want to check it out for yourself, go to the Etsy App and scroll down to 'Shared by shops you like' on the homescreen. There you'll see updates from any shops you've favorited or purchased from!
