A labour strike is planned for workers who collect, sort, and deliver Royal Mail parcels. Drop-off locations will still be open during the planned strike and services will continue to operate, but domestic and international parcels shipped via Royal Mail may be delayed.
Etsy will help communicate potential delays to shoppers by adjusting estimated delivery dates on listings that have Royal Mail as the shipping carrier in the shipping profile. If you receive an order that will ship during the strike period, send a message to let the customer know about the potential delay.
Strikes are planned on the following dates:
Royal Mail recommends posting items as early as possible ahead of the planned strike dates. You can still drop off items at post boxes and post offices on those days, but collection may be less frequent.
