In April, we announced Pattern by Etsy, a new way for Etsy sellers to set up a personal website built from the existing content and listings in their Etsy shop. Today, we’ve released several new features that sellers using Pattern have requested.
These new features include:
-- Pinterest Verification: If you have a Pinterest for Business account (
https://business.pinterest.com), you can now confirm your Pattern site within your Pattern Dashboard. Confirming your Pattern site will give you access to analytics related to your Pattern site on Pinterest, and allows you to include your shop icon within pins shared from your site. For instructions on how to input your Pinterest tracking code, see this help guide:
https://www.etsy.com/help/article/42578925327#Q3-- A new language translation option: By default, your Pattern site will auto-translate for buyers based on the language selected in their browser settings. You now have the option to disable auto-translation within your Pattern settings, which will only display your content in the shop’s default language no matter the location of the buyer. Learn more about how language translations work on Pattern here:
https://www.etsy.com/help/article/42579684751 -- A new theme: Our latest theme, Chiffon, gives you the ability to create a striking, clean landing page for your brand. The homepage displays a background image featuring the photograph from your shop’s first listing, with your site title and headline prominently displayed. From there, buyers can click into your shop, which features your products in a collage layout. Learn more about the new theme and all of the available Pattern site designs here:
