Happy couples can create a registry full of gift ideas that are totally them—aka personalized, handmade, and vintage items from Etsy sellers like you. Then they can share the registry with all their excited guests.
We already know Etsy’s the best place to find unique gifts—Etsy Registry will help even more shoppers discover the items you’ve got for sale.

How it works:
- To create or purchase from a registry, users will need to have an Etsy.com account.
- Couples can create a registry featuring all their cool Etsy finds and add any personalization or customization requests.
- Guests can shop from a couple’s registry. When they check out, they’ll have the option to ship the gift directly to the couple or to their own address.
- The gift-buyer will receive order confirmation emails and receipts. If there’s an issue with a registry purchase, the purchaser can open a case and eligible orders qualify for Etsy Purchase Protection.
- You’ll see a note on your orders page indicating if an item was purchased from a Registry.
- The registry creator can see when a gift is purchased and by whom (so they can send all those sweet thank you notes).
- If a listing sells out, registry creators will see an “unavailable” badge and can easily remove it from their wish list. Guests won’t see unavailable items.

What’s next?
This is just the beginning of our happily ever after. We designed Etsy Registry for soon-to-be newlyweds, but we plan to add registry options for more life events (think new houses) in the future.
Plus, we’re also working to bring you more stats from registries, like notifications when one of your items is added to a registry and stats about the sales you’ve made. These insights will help you understand what’s resonating with registry creators and shoppers so you can continue to grow your business. We’ll update this post as we add new features!
