Welcome to our monthly roundup of Etsy updates and community highlights that you don’t want to miss …
1. Introducing a "Made for You" page to help buyers get the most out of shopping on Etsy
At Etsy, we’re committed to helping sellers grow their businesses, which is why we’re constantly investing in user-experience improvements on our platform. We know that when buyers are able to easily find items they love, they’re more likely to keep coming back. And that could mean more sales for you!
We recently launched a brand-new page called "Made for You" that’s designed to help shoppers make the most of Etsy. Here are some of the improvements we’re letting buyers know about on that page:
2. Highlighting deals to shoppers with a “Buy more & save” badge
We invited a small group of sellers to test a new tool for a limited time—the “Buy more & save” badge. For sellers who offer discounts when buyers purchase more than one of the same item, a badge will appear on selected listings, making it easier for deal-seeking buyers to get a discount on their purchase. And, the more buyers purchase, the more they save—a win for both sellers and shoppers! In the future, if we decide to roll out this new tool, you’ll be the first to know!
3. Planning with emergency resources for small business owners
June marks the start of hurricane season in the U.S., and 2024 is expected to be one of the most active years on record.* With natural disasters on the rise, it’s important to have a plan. To help you find and navigate crucial disaster readiness and response information, Etsy has compiled essential resources for sellers in our Seller Handbook. They feature best practices from our natural disaster preparedness and recovery guides, developed in partnership with Nest and the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF). You’ll also find info on the Etsy Disaster Relief Fund through the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+).
