It’s an interest that buyers report at higher rates than the general population*, and a value that we’ve shared as a company from the start. Today we’re taking an important step forward in our shared commitment to sustainability: Etsy is now the first global online shopping destination to completely balance the environmental impact of shipping by offsetting carbon emissions.
Starting today, we’re offsetting carbon emissions for all shipments on Etsy. We’ll be funding these offsets for less than a single penny per shipment, and there’s no cost or action required for buyers or sellers. Find out more details here.
