As Brad shared earlier this week, Etsy is turning 20 this year — and what a milestone it is! Whether you’ve just opened your shop or have been with us since the early days, your creativity has not only brought joy to shoppers around the world, but it’s also helped you inspire each other and build this incredible community.
When we kicked off the year, we promised to double down on community — and the momentum is only growing. So far, 2025 has brought exciting in-person and virtual gatherings, deeper peer-to-peer support, and more opportunities for connection across cities, countries and time zones. We’ve loved meeting so many of you and hearing your stories, from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Brussels, Belgium!
To honor this anniversary, we’ve asked 20 incredible sellers — each of whom joined in a different year — to share what makes their shop and journey special. Their stories speak to the vibrant, diverse, and ever-evolving spirit of the Etsy community.

We’ve been listening closely to your feedback about our programs and are excited to announce that later this year we will be launching a new community hub, a unified space that will host our forums, events, and so much more. We’ll be overhauling the design, navigation, and features to make it easier for you to connect with each other, access resources, and get tips for running your shops.
