Steven, I used a coupon code for a whole month as part of a team promotion. (i.e. we all used the same coupon code for the same month.) I did not get a single sale using the coupon, and almost nobody else on the team did either. I think maybe one or two did. But it's worth a try, if you want to -- it doesn't cost you anything except the discount you give the buyer. The thing that does cost money that has also not been that successful for many people I know here on Etsy is Search Ads -- I've seen them discussed in many teams, and in not one has anyone been wildly enthusiastic about the results.
