I did the whole Plaid nonsense about a week ago and linked my bank directly to Etsy (kicking and screaming mind you) and just got an email telling me that Plaid was unable to verify the bank info and to log in and fix it. I log in to fix it and the box won't let me open it to "re-enter bank details" to start the process over. You click and it never opens the whatever to let me re-enter. I'm going to lose my mind if this prevents me from getting my weekly deposits when we've done nothing wrong and there's no issues with my bank account.
Anyone experiencing this? I'm so annoyed.

We can confirm that some sellers were mistakenly sent an email stating “We couldn’t verify your bank account information” due to an error on Etsy’s end. I got it on BOTH Accounts, two weeks AFTER I verified AND got DEPOSITS, and, the RADIO BUTTON to do it AGAIN is not WORKING!
This is FRAUD... Plaid GOT my Password, etc., DESPITE my better judgement... NOW... THIS?
I am DEFINITELY LEAVING ETSY after 16 years if ETSY does NOT FIX THIS!
@FriedGreenTomato Plaid doesn't keep the password.
I used the other method which enabled me to get a passcode from my bank so I didn't have to use my password.
Plaid does not need to keep passwords once they have been connected to an account. If the bank allows it, Plaid will be a connected app with 24/7 access once they have the username and password unless the seller disconnects them in their bank settings (not all banks seem to allow it, though).
That's how Plaid works. There are people who authorize them to do that in order to use their service.
Same here!!! I just got that email and remember I did it not too long ago. This time the "re-enter bank details" doesn't open a popup window for Plaid on multiple devices and browsers.
(Did not click the email and just logged in through the website in case it was a phising email. It's not, but better to practice safe measures and be safe than sorry.)

Also having the same issue. Super super frustrated and don't understand what's going on. I'm assuming it has to be a glitch, but this is ridiculous. All of these "improvements" only make selling on this site worse than ever. I hope this issue at least gets resolved soon.

Perhaps you flipped digits when you entered the information? It would be easy to do.
IF you can't get it to open, use chat if you have it and ask them to have your bank details area opened again. I don't know if hitting update would open if for you.
No... we all WERE noticed we WERE Verified... Weeks ago... This came out of nowhere!
Yeah I was 100% verified and have received a payout since so that's not it in my case.
Just got the same email. I verified on August 25th and have since received a deposit.
Me too, I verified with Plaid on August 25th, but just now got same email.
Same and this boils my blood. Etsy needs to get their sh* together.
@WildOceanVintage I also did mine on August 25th and got my monthly deposit. I’m not doing anything in case there is some sort of Etsy glitch.
I'm on the phone with Etsy and the girl is saying that yes my account was approved and that yes suddenly it's no longer approved. This is crap and that's me putting this nicely. I'm insanely busy and don't have time for this nonsense.
Does she know why the button to re enter our banking info isn't working?

This whole Plaid thing has me worried. Either I haven’t received notification yet or I deleted it, I’m not sure how it going to work.

We had the exact same issue, plus we work closely with our accountant that relays all the details - so it was very weird that it wasn't verified after all the details were verified; Plaid was even notified by our accountant. It's so weird it couldn't be verified & the link does NOT work whatsoever. Hoping Etsy fixes this quickly because withholding payment after we did everything we were told is not what we'd expect a large selling platform to do to us since giving out personal information to a third party was tough enough.

I got weeks of deposits after they said I did it... I authorized the Bank Passcode... Now, this? Why?
