Hi everyone,

I am a reasonably well known artist in my local area but I am not a huge fan of the gallery system and I am choosy about who I work with.

It has been suggested to me that Etsy would be a good place to sell open editions so I have set up a shop and I am giving it a try with prints at much lower prices than they would be usually just to try and get things moving.

Any advice from experienced Etsy print makers/sellers greatly appreciated.

Hello.

Please stop by my shop and have a look. I think my work speaks for itself, but in case it doesn't, I'll say a few words in its behalf. My prints and cards are made from my original acrylic paintings. I usually depict ordinary people doing everyday things, but with an offbeat point of view. Most of my work leans toward droll humor.

I have been on Etsy for about 6 weeks, without a sale and with very few visitors. I have posted in forums a couple times to get advice. Sometimes the advice is good, sometimes contradictory, but I appreciate it anyway.

I'm happy to have found this team, I like what I see.
