http://www.etsy.com/forums_thread.php?thread_id=5989513&page=33http://www.techairlines.com/exclude-your-own-visits-from-google-analytics-by-cookie/The keywords report shows the words people used on search engines to find Etsy, which sometimes will be your shop & sometimes won't. I use it as a way to see what items of mine are coming up high in google, & as a general indication of how SEO is going for me. On most days, if the keywords that are actually for my shop are less than 50%, then not so good :( [but that is for me - other shops will be different. & if I am participating in a google/SEO thread in the general forum, my accurate keyword percentage will definitely be lower, b/c people will be googling themselves & maybe later check out my shop]
sometimes I get keyword referrals for things in my shop, but I know I am not highly ranked in google results for that term - "ear cuffs" is a good example. So I check the landing page & see that they found Etsy through google but found me by doing an on-Etsy search.
