Unfortunately, Etsy is not directly connected to any affiliate marketing sites. While there has been a small glimmer of hope that they would join up with one of these sites, the odds are now looking grim. So this team was created to be that affiliate marketing avenue which allows for shop owners to promote their shop and increase their sales while affiliates earn some extra income.

But in short, affiliate marketing is where a shop owner would offer a publisher/marketer/affiliate - all these are the same- a commission to sell their product. This allows for shops to increase exposure and sell more product, while allowing for affiliates to earn some extra income.
You may think, "Can't I just join one of the many affiliate marketing sites out their on the web?" This option sounds nice, unfortunately most of these websites will not publish for a small business like an Etsy shop owner, and the select few who will make you jump through hoops to do so, provide minimal results, and have fees along with the commission which diminishes any profit.
Etsy has done its best to provide ways for us to gain exposure through apps and other things, but let's face it, it's just not enough. That being said, we all love Etsy because it allows us to sell products that we enjoy making, but we also want to see some monetary compensation as a result. So until Etsy provides it for us, we need to find a way to generate exposure and sales if we cannot obtain them organically.
