Bring this topic out of mothe balls , I would like to know as i have been making them for 20 yrs . It would be nice not to have to put a slash betwwen the 2 words.
I've often wondered which gets more traffic. Is it a regional thing? Everyone I know calls it a purse, but sometimes I just want to use handbag in my description because I like how it sounds.
I use both but I prefer handbag, as there is no confusion as to it's meaning. A purse can be an amount of money given away or won in a contest. You can also purse your lips. lol.
