Hi there! My name is Luca, and I live in the north of Italy, between the alps (well I actually live IN the alps) and Como Lake. Formerly I'm a designer, a yacht designer, but since when I was a child my parents are running a small antiques shop here in my little town. Imagine, the walls of the shop were built in 1497!!
A couple of years ago, after working for several BIG NAMES and having seen there's absolutely nothing SPECIAL with them, I decided to come back, and start designing and producing myself some accessories and furniture for the mountain houses.
Out of this idea came the name The Cabin Essentials. The idea is to produce and sell basic products, built with real and honest materials. The aim of my design and production, is to make objects that have a value on their own, and that will last forever. I've got antique rustic pieces of furniture in my shop that were built like 500 years ago... could you imagine the emotions in even touching them???
