Almost 20 years ago I went on a train ride with my daughter. She had what was a troll doll pillow. It was blue hair. Well, we were running behind and had to run to catch the train right out of the restroom...sadly I didn't realize it was missing until it was too late. I searched and searched. Perhaps it is out there today. I searched back then, not recently. Anyways, I don't know if it was @Russ or not. If anyone has seen our troll pillow...*sniff* let the little troll know we are still looking for it. Oh, one distinguishing feature is that it had a printed blue gem for the belly button. I know it's a long shot, but I wonder if anyone has even heard of something like that you could turn me on to it. My memory has a price tag on it...wonder if they match up. *wink* Thanks all, your the best. :)

I had this cabbage patch doll my whole life til i was like 17 when i stepped on her, broke her head( i coulda fixed it i'm so mad at me!) and threw her away. My dad gave her to me before I can really remember, her name was Aleda. Anyway she was born sometime around 1986-1987. She had long red/orange yarn hair with tiny little bangs, big blue eyes and dimples, one in each cheek. I miss her. I can't believe I was such a heathen- I threw her away! I'd love to have her back!

I don't know much about cabbage patch dolls. My grandma made us a home-made cabbage patch wannabe for the younger kids. *sigh* still wish I had that one too. :)

i knew, i knew what i was doing at the time, i knew it was a terrible solution, i knew i'd regret it and be pissed and i did it anyway just to really piss myself off. i was successful! i even forgot about it like blocked it out because i was so mad,about the whole incident!

no, I think about aleda alot i feel really bad, you know when sometimes things have a spirit, aleda was my bff!she was my main doll who was in charge of all the other dolls, even the scary porcelin ones i hated always watching me!

Lesleyslight, I know what you mean. I was not so sentimental as a child and just gave away toys as I outgrew them. As I grew up I realized I gave away my friends. I have one or two things left but feel like I killed the others (especially if I threw away rather than gave away). I could kick myself now. I have bought two 1950s stuffed poodles that are related to but not the exact color as "Pierre" who I gave away. I am still looking for Pierre - a small, jointed velvet and fuzz guy (looks like a Steiff but isn't) - he is black and white and wears a red collar. If seen, please tell him to come home (or let me know). I kept "Clownie" (I had no imagination about names) from my olden days. Clownie and I still miss Pierre and would like him to come home.

Also looking for "Puss". Puss, Clownie and Pierre were a threesome. Puss was a "Puss in Boots" stuffed animal, small white angora head in a pink felt boot. He was actually kind of strange and I've never seen this type anywhere though there are several Pierre and Clownie wannabees. I would be thrilled to find Puss (yet another imaginative name...)
