Today's feature is ThePoetryofNature. Katharine is a fairly new member to the team. She has some lovely photographs, greeting cards and gift sets in her shop. The name of her shop is very appropriate. Being a lover of nature, I enjoyed perusing her art.
Katharine has, in part, this to say on her About Page:
"Taking photographs,or rather, finding photographs, is one of my favorite things to do. When I go out in nature, I let my imagination wander, I let every plant, flower, drop of water have a life force, and I wait until I see a "story" emerge that is something beyond the actual object.
When I come to a "scene" I often treat it as if it were a human, and I photograph from every angle, even upside down when I can! I keep taking pictures until I see its something more and then, I start again, framing what I see to best capture what I feel is being said."
