I there foursonswoodworking here. I'm a newbie on Etsy. I think I'm doing the right things. Could someone comments on my listings? I know the images could be better. I'm working on that.
e.g. I did a search for "walnut butcher block cutting board" and could not see my listing on pages 1 -20 (of 41). The phrase matched one of the phrases in the title exactly. :(
If I searched for: "handmade black walnut bread board" which exactly matching a phase in my listing title and my 2 boards showed up on the last page. https://www.etsy.com/search/handmade?q=black+walnut+bread+board&filter_distracting_content=1&vintage...
So as I shopper I rarely look past the first several pages. This tells me that my boards will never be seen using general searches. :(:(
I put in the right catagory, and tags I believe, following listings that appeared toward the top of general searches. Is it lack of sales, buyers comments, lousy descriptions, bad tags...? I'd really like someone to point out what I'm not doing.
Stats show 25 views and 14 visits so far $0 in sales.
